The Farnam Community has been a staple in the community since 1909, giving kids of all ages the tools they need to grow and thrive well into adulthood. Beneath the Farnam Community umbrella are the Farnam Center, located in New Haven CT, and Camp Farnam in Durham, CT.

The Farnam Mission: To play a leadership role in helping the community be cohesive, successful and productive.

At the Farnam Center (formerly Farnam Neighborhood House), parents will find a robust and nurturing preschool and aftercare program. Older kids benefit from a range of athletic and enrichment programs, games and activities, as well as a teen leadership program designed to help shape tomorrow’s leaders. All in a safe, encouraging environment.

Camp Farnam, located on 72 wooded acres, gives New Haven kids ages 5-12 a summer to remember – days filled with sunshine, swimming, sports, hiking, and field events. The facility includes a pavilion for arts & crafts, science, and nature study. Registration forms for Summer 2017 can be found here.

These programs equip New Haven kids with the strength and confidence they need to make good choices and rise to the challenges that lie ahead.
